About Annette
Our mom loved to play with dolls, all dolls. But she really loved Barbie dolls! Over the years, she had collected hundreds of Barbie dolls, including Ken, Midge, PJ, Skipper, Julia, Alan... and so many others.
She collected their toys, their houses, their cars.
Some she displayed; some she refurbished and clothed and gave away to fund-raising events. Many she never removed from their boxes!
She gathered her dolls from her neighbourhood, from around BC, from across Canada, and some from other countries. Her collection literally filled three rooms of her condominium.
Sadly, our mom passed away in October 2022. In our grief, we found comfort in memories and stories of her life, and we have been playing with dolls. Now it is time to find new homes for Annette's precious collection pieces.
We are building this site to get the word out and share insight to her collection. We hope that collectors of all degree will have a look and maybe pick a doll or two to add to their own collections.
